All Opportunities
Welcome to University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s scholarship opportunities homepage!
Below, you will find a listing of the scholarship opportunities available to students offered through UW-Platteville and the UW-Platteville Foundation. Many of the scholarships offered are made possible by the generosity of alumni and friends of the campus who believe in the value of a UW-Platteville education. UW-Platteville scholarships consider students for awards using a holistic framework that may include, but is not limited to, academic achievement, past and potential contributions, service and leadership, and financial need. You can learn more about the eligibility criteria, award amounts, and donors by reviewing the scholarships listed below. Additional scholarship information can be found at “www//uwplatt.edu/scholarships.”
Who can apply for scholarships?
- Admitted and enrolled UW-Platteville degree seeking students taking classes at the main campus or online.
- Re-entry students eligible to enroll for an upcoming term at the main campus of UW-Platteville.
Note: UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County students can apply here for the scholarships sponsored by the Baraboo and Friends Foundation.
How do I apply?
Admitted and current students can apply using their UW-Platteville Net ID information. To complete your application, Sign in by clicking the orange button at the top right. You will be required to submit the General Application to be considered as a scholarship applicant.
Students will match to scholarships based on their UW-Platteville student record information and completed General Application in two ways:
- Auto-Match Scholarships do not have any additional questions beyond the General Applications. Applicants are matched automatically if they satisfy the qualifications and no further action is required. You will not be able to see these matches in your Recommended Opportunities, but your application will be forwarded to the committee(s) administering each scholarship.
- Apply-to Scholarships require additional items (like an additional essay or a reference) for you to be considered. When you’re signed in, apply-to scholarships will appear in your list of Recommended Opportunities (once you have fully submitted your General Application), and an "Apply” button will be available under the Actions column. You must submit a scholarship-specific application to be considered. You must submit the additional information requested to be considered.
Qualifying and/or applying does not guarantee that you will be offered a scholarship.
Note: It is recommended for you to save/update your application after entering each essay question to prevent the system from timing out and your information being lost.
