Betty Gebhardt

As a transfer student from Clinton Community College (CCC) in Iowa, Betty found the transition from a two-year college to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville very easy. Betty chose the school because it was affordable, and her parents knew someone who had attended and spoke highly of it. When Betty visited campus, she learned that all of her credits from CCC would transfer.

Although she hasn’t used her Elementary Education degree as much as she expected, as she ended up teaching more in the Business Education field, she had many good memories of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The school gave her the foundation she needed to later earn her Master’s Degree in Business Education.
