Dr. John Busby

Dr. John Busby attended UW-Platteville in the pre-dental program. The academic staff and their guidance prepared him very well for dentistry school at Marquette University. While at UW-Platteville John was a member of the ROTC. Later on the US Army provided him a scholarship to attend dental school; this military commission was from the UW-Platteville ROTC program.

John believes the dental profession can be enhanced by the pre-dental program’s preparation for dental school and with guidance in professional development through mentorship. This scholarship and potential mentorship is designed to help and assist prospective students to not only become skilled dental providers but also to become positive members of their communities
