Friends and Family of Kelsie Martin

Kelsie Martin passed away at the young age of 22 in 2025 and is remembered as a vibrant and compassionate University of Wisconsin-Platteville student whose impact far exceeded her time on campus. A lifelong learner with a love of psychology, reading, and creativity, she brought energy and curiosity to everything she did — from cooking and crafting homemade gifts to connecting deeply with family and friends. A passionate Marvel fan and dedicated student, Kelsie graduated summa cum laude with a degree in psychology, actively leading as President of the Psychology Club and participating in honor societies. Her commitment to helping others was evident in her campus leadership roles, where she progressed from Resident Assistant to Assistant Resident Director, inspired by a desire to support others the way she had been supported.

This scholarship was created to allow Kelsie’s memory and passion to live on, supporting others just as she so often supported those around her.
