Lee Zastrow
Lee Zastrow graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2003 following completion of his degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. Lee was extensively involved in FIRST Robotics, the Segregated University Fee Allocation Commission, the College Democrats, and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Lee served in various capacities in each organization, always adding his own personal touch, based on his values, beliefs, and leadership. As a devoted member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Lee lived the values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, while striving to be a leader, scholar, athlete, and gentleman. These values enabled Lee to give years of service to UW-Platteville as a student leader. Lee also served the community as a volunteer for many different service opportunities, including raising money for the local charities and hospitals. Shortly after graduation, Lee suffered an unexpected health problem and passed away in his sleep at his home.
For Lee’s outstanding service to UW-Platteville and the surrounding community and his impeccable character, we honor his memory by awarding a scholarship in his name who best exemplifies the qualities and characteristics that made Lee Zastrow the great man he was.
