Dean B. and Phyllis J. Dempsey Memorial Scholarship*

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be of sophomore standing or above
2. Applicants must major in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering or a Pre-professional area of study
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Applicants must be a US citizen
5. Applicants must demonstrates financial need

The Dean B. and Phyllis J. Dempsey Memorial Scholarship is renewable for one additional year (two years of funding total), provided the recipient continues to major in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a pre-professional area of study; maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; and demonstrates financial need.
