Barbara Johns Prindiville Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor Barbara Johns Prindiville, daughter of Evelyn Johns. Barbara graduated from UW-Platteville in 1969 with a degree in Medical Technology and also received her Master of Arts in Teaching in 1974. In 1995, she earned a PhD in Educational Administration from UW-Madison. Barbara served as the president of Waukesha County Technical College.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be an new freshmen
2. Applicants must be graduates from Platteville High School
3. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Biology (preference) or Engineering
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
