Clement E. and Viola M. Miller Biology Education Scholarship

Viola M. Miller graduated in 1929 from the State Teachers’ College-Platteville. Clement E. Miller, a miner, was along-time friend of the University and was friends with many of the professors at the University. Their son, Dr. David E. Miller, a UWP Biology Department professor, established this scholarship in memory of his parents.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Biology with a minor or emphasis in Secondary Education
2. Applicants must be at least junior standing
3. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Preference will be given to applicants who have been active in any of the music activities offered at UW-Platteville
