Roman and Joan Borkovec Scholarship

Both Roman and Joan (Vosberg) Borkovec are 1956 graduates of the Wisconsin State College at Platteville, respectively receiving their degrees in Agriculture and in Education. Both taught school after graduation. Roman subsequently pursued a banking career and was president of the First Banking Center and trust officer of that bank for many years. Currently he is president of First Banking Center Holding Company.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Education
2. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.65 or higher
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need per submitted FAFSA
