Atten and Babler Agriculture Scholarship

Atten and Babler LLC, is engaged in a variety of agricultural enterprises that include farm real estate, grain production, farm management, commodity marketing, cattle feeding, and commercial real estate. Co-founders of Atten and Babler LLC, Carl Babler and Chris Atten recognize their course work, experiences, and the relationships developed at UWP as very foundational to their career involvement in US agriculture.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be new freshmen from the Illinois counties of Jo Davies, Stephenson, or Winnebago
2. Applicants must be majoring in Agriculture
a. If there are no eligible applicants that are majoring in Agriculture, then the scholarship shall be available to an applicant with a major within the College of Business, Industry, Life Science, and
Agriculture
3. Preference will be given to applicants with involvement in a FFA organization or who have agriculture backgrounds
