American Transmission Company Scholarship

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be an incoming freshman or a continuing student
2. Applicants must be majoring in Electrical Engineering, preference will be given to students with a power and energy emphasis.
3. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
5. Preference will be given to applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A short essay is optional for applicants to share a personal statement describing difficulties or hurdles they have encounter that have affected their academic success.
6. Preference to student(s) who contribute to the intellectual and cultural enrichment of the program because of their life experiences, including overcoming personal adversity or family hardship, records of extensive community service, or successful careers in other fields
