Brett and Nick Erickson Scholarship

Families who have individuals with special needs face unique circumstances, including expenses. On the other hand, families that face this challenge also have special opportunities for growth. Those students who have a sibling with a disability have a unique opportunity to rise to the occasion and become compassionate and thoughtful young adults, with great potential to make a positive impact. This scholarship is in honor of two such siblings, one who has autism and the other who embraced the challenges and opportunities; the two are best friends.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must have a special-needs sibling(s)
2. Applicants must provide an essay explaining how having a special needs sibling impacted their lives
