Dr. Sue Price Ag Consulting Team, Inc. Scholarship

Dr. Susan Price began her career at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1988 as a lecturer teaching animal nutrition courses. During her career at UW-Platteville, she worked as an extension veterinarian for the state of Wisconsin from 1990 to 1996, as well as serving as the professor and director of the UW-Platteville School of Agriculture from 1996 to 2002. She was also awarded Outstanding Faculty Member in 2011 from the School of Agriculture. Because of Price’s long commitment and dedication to the university, she was also chosen as the Mace Carrier for the spring 2012 College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture commencement ceremony.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Dairy Science
2. Applicants must be of sophomore or junior standing
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
5. Preference will be given to applicants with an agriculture background and interest in animal nutrition
