Janecky Family Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Corey Janecky and Laura Runyen-Janecky in honor of Corey’s parents, Harland and Doris Janecky, who instilled in him the value of education. The Janecky Family Scholarship is a fund intended to provide scholarship aid to a UW-Platteville student who graduated from West Allis Central High School.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a first-year student
2. Applicants must graduate from West Allis Central High School in West Allis, WI
3. Applicants must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
*If there are no first-year students to award the scholarship to, then it can be awarded to a continuing student that has graduated from West Allis Central H.S. (West Allis, WI)

Students may re-apply for the Janecky Family Scholarship to be selected as the recipient for up to 3 additional years.
