NEW Manufacturing Alliance Scholarship

The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is a manufacturer led organization that began in 2006 with 12 members and now has over 260 members mostly manufacturers in 18 counties in northeast Wisconsin. The organization works closely with K-16 educators, workforce development, chambers of commerce and state organizations to promote manufacturing in the Northeast Wisconsin region. The vision of the organization is that Every northeast Wisconsin manufacturer will find the talent it needs. One of the chief strategies is to invest in college scholarships at regional technical colleges and universities.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
First preference
1. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
2. Applicants must be enrolled in the UW-Platteville Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering programs at UW-Fox Valley campus
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
4. Must attend the UW-Fox Valley campus

Second preference
1. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
2. Applicants must be enrolled in the UW-Platteville Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering programs at UW-Fox Valley campus
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
4. Applicants must be a resident of the UW-Fox Valley area (Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties)

Third preference
1. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
2. Applicants must be enrolled in the UW-Platteville Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering programs at UW-Fox Valley campus
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
