James Franklin Bade Scholarship

James Bade went to what was then known as the Wisconsin School of Mines and graduated in 1956. During his tenure as a student at the Wisconsin School of Mines, he made the decision to focus on the `petroleum’ option. His graduating class had 25 people in it. James loved to tell stories about his college days, and always loved going back to Platteville to see the `M’.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a continuing student majoring in Engineering
2. Preference will be give to applicants from Waukesha or Walworth county
