Barbara J. Lewis Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Barbara J. Lewis who was an alumni of UW-Platteville. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from UWP. She had a passion for teaching elementary students and was a teacher for over 40 years.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior
2. Applicants must be majoring in Elementary Education
3. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
4. Applicants must submit an essay on why they believe that they should receive the Barbara J. Lewis Memorial Scholarship
