'Tay' and Anna (Francis) Dresden Scholarship

In honor of their parents, and in loving memory of their appreciation and concern for education, particularly for students from rural areas, Carlton Dresden, along with his siblings and gifts from the Anna L. Dresden Memorial Fund, created the “Tay” and Anna (Francis) Dresden scholarship.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in the School of Education or the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science (EMS)
2. Applicants must be from rural communities and backgrounds
3. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
5. Preference will be given to applicants majoring in Education
6. Preference will be given to student from Southwestern Wisconsin
