Moody Family Scholarship

This scholarship is being created to express our appreciation to UW-Platteville for the education that members of our family have obtained over several generations. lt began with our mother, Mabel Feathers, obtaining a teaching degree in 1929 from what was then Platteville Normal School. She stressed education to her 3 sons whom each obtained an engineering degree in the 60’s and 70’ s. In addition, Mabel would be proud that she was the first of 4 generations to graduate: three sons, one daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and a great-grandson. In recognition of the success we believe our family has achieved because of our UW-Platteville education, we are creating the Moody Family Scholarship.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants can be either a first-year or a continuing student
2. Applicants have a major within the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science

The Moody Family Scholarship is renewable for up to four years so long as the recipient continues pursuing a major in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science.
