Dr. Karen Schilling Memorial Scholarship

Dr. Karen (Johnson) Schilling taught school at Platteville Middle School, teaching seventh grade math. Prior to that, she was principal at Neal Wilkins Elementary School and Hanmer Robbins Elementary School. She also worked part-time at UW-Platteville for many years. This scholarship was created to honor Dr. Schilling.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a continuing student
2. Applicants must be majoring in Math Education, Science Education, or Technology Education
3. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and scholastic ability
