Taber Family Endowed Scholarship

The Taber Family Scholarship was created through a gift made by Mark and Celeste Taber and Tom and Beverly Taber. Both Mark and Tom graduated from UW-Platteville and served in the United States Army. For many years they lived in the shadow of Doudna Hall on Pine Street when homes occupied the area where Karrmann Library and walking paths now exist. They remember when the trees surrounding Old Main, now the Center for the Arts, had plaques at their bases dedicating them to student veterans from World War I and World War II. The purpose of this scholarship is to help students who have served our country.
