Robert C. Hansen Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry

Robert C. Hansen taught Analytical Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for over 37 years. He built the first instrumental Analytical Chemistry laboratory and made other innovations in teaching and research. His dry wit and never-ending sense of humor, blended in with his keen knowledge and love of his subject matter, made him a favorite with students. In honor of his wonderful career and in praise of his efforts for the university, his former students, friends, and colleagues created this scholarship.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
2. Applicants must be majoring in Chemistry
3. Applicants must have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.0
4. Applicants must not qualify for financial aid
