Connie C. Stephens Memorial Scholarship

Connie graduated from Platteville High School in 1955 where she participated in State Solo Ensemble playing oboe and piano for four years. She received her Bachelor of Science from UW-Platteville in 1958 in English & Music Education. She later received her MS in English Education from UW-Platteville in 1973.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be of sophomore, junior, or senior standing
2. Applicants must be majoring in English or Music
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
4. Applicants must be involved in extracurricular activities
5. Preference will be given to applicants who discuss future goals
