Charles and Marilyn Brokopp Health Sciences Scholarship

The donors wish to establish scholarships at universities where they obtained their undergraduate degrees that led to careers in public health, nursing, and laboratory sciences. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to qualified health science students enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be of sophomore standing or above
2. Applicants must be majoring in Biology with a pre-professional scope of a health science degree
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
5. Preference will be given to applicants who have graduated from Lancaster High School; second preference is student from Southwestern Wisconsin

The Charles and Marilyn Brokopp Health Sciences Scholarship may be renewable so long as the recipient reapplies for the scholarship.
