William E. Von Rueden Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Agriculture

William (Bill) E. Von Rueden graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1975. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. During his years as a student, Bill was actively involved in Inter-varsity Christian Fellowship, University Fliers, the Agricultural Education Society, Alpha Zeta, and Alpha Gamma Rho. Bill’s career in agriculture included 23 years working as a district sales manager with Purina Mills Inc., where he earned numerous sales awards, and with Co-op Country Partners of Baraboo.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Agriculture
2. Applicants must be a continuing student
