Jill Pamperin and Miles Hill 'Lab Rat' Scholarship

Jill Pamperin studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, which was possible by the countless number of scholarships she received in both her undergraduate and graduate work. Jill felt that there were many deserving students who could use a little more help. Miles Hill, who was also an Electrical Engineering student at Platteville, could have used a scholarship, but didn’t meet any of the criteria of the current scholarships. He was great in lab work: hanging out in the labs where he would frequently help others, and taking his love of Electrical Engineering home to personal projects at night. Jill dedicates her “Lab Rat” Scholarship to Miles Hill for his dedication to the application of his study and his fellow students.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Electrical Engineering
2. Applicants must have earned a minimum of 12 credits in Electrical Engineering
3. Applicant must demonstrate maximum involvement and dedication in hands on Electrical Engineering projects- laboratory work, expo projects, research or independent study projects.
