Chemistry Emeriti Faculty Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor Robert C. Hansen who taught Analytical Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for over 37 years. He built the first instrumental analytical chemistry laboratory and made other innovations in teaching and research. His dry wit and never-ending sense of humor, blended in with his keen knowledge and love of his subject matter made him a favorite with students. His former students, friends, and colleagues created this scholarship in honor of his wonderful career and in praise of his efforts for the university.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Chemistry
2. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
