The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
First preference:
1. Applicants must be non-traditional students
2. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher

Second preference:
1. Applicants must be majoring or minoring in Health and Human Performance
2. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
3. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
4. Applicants must participate in extra-curricular activities
5. Preference will be given to female applicants
