Environmental Scholarship

Jerry Gunderson graduated from UW-Platteville in 1965 with a major in General Science and an emphasis in Biology. He taught math and science for 30 years in Wisconsin. This is the fourth scholarship Jerry created. His support of UWP, its students, and its mission is greatly appreciated by the campus community.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Environmental Engineering, Biology with an Ecology emphasis, Ecological, Restoration and Resource Management, or Sustainability and Renewable Energy Systems or minoring in Sustainability and Renewable Energy Systems
2. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.3 or higher
3. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
