Strand Associates Civil Engineering Scholarship

Strand Associates, Incorporated is a civil and environmental engineering consulting firm headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. Strand is known for hiring a number of UW-Platteville graduates through the years. The firm has received numerous Engineering Excellence Awards while under the direction of these UW-Platteville alumni, and has created this scholarship as a way of showing thanks.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering
2. Applicants must be of sophomore, junior, or senior standing
2. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
3. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
4. Preference will be given to applicants involved in extra-curricular activities
