Richard J. Loberger Scholarship

Richard “Dick” earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from UW-Platteville. He was Professor of Agriculture Engineering Technology at UW-Platteville from 1966 to 1993. Dick was the former adviser to the Ag Mechanics Club at UW-Platteville and former adviser to the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. Both Dick and his wife, Jan, dedicated their professional careers to serving the students and alumni of UW-Platteville.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must major in Agriculture Education or Agribusiness with an emphasis in Equipment/Structure and Power Systems or Agribusiness
2. Applicants must be of junior standing or higher
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in extra-curricular activities with leadership roles
