Hazel T. and Godfrey C. Struebing Endowed Scholarship

The Hazel T. and Godfrey C. Struebing Scholarship Fund is established by Jan C. Kucher and his wife Ronda Pettey-Kucher in honor and memory of his aunt and uncle and in appreciation for the education that he (1979), his wife Ronda (1979), and his aunt received at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a first-year student
2. Applicants must be majoring in the School of Education
3. Preference will be given to applicants who have overcome disabilities
4. Preference will be given to applicants who have shown extraordinary accomplishments in community service
5. Preference will be given to applicants who have scored among the top 20% of students in their graduating high school class
6. Preference will be given to applicants who are from Sauk County
