Lloyd H. Daughenbaugh Scholarship

After four years in the Navy and two more as a carpenter, Duff entered the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, then known as Platteville State Teachers College, to take advantage of his GI Bill and to earn a bachelor’s degree in with a major in Industrial Arts and a minor in Social Studies. Lloyd H. “Duff” Daughenbaugh created this scholarship in thanks of the financial success his collegiate background at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville gave him and to benefit generations of students to come.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Education
2. Applicants who are freshmen and/or transfer students must show potential for success in the teacher education program
3. Applicants who are continuing students must demonstrate potential for success as outstanding teachers, academic progress, and financial need
