Joe Clifton and Tom Scanlan Computer Science and Software Engineering Scholarship

Scott Seely earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He went on to write five books and dozens of articles on computer programming. From 2000-2006, he worked for Microsoft on both Windows and several libraries that ship with the .NET framework. While a student at UW-Platteville, Scott pursued a degree in Computer Science. He created this scholarship in gratitude of his two favorite professors who pushed him to be the best he could be: Dr. Joe Clifton and Tom Scanlan.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a Junior or Senior
2. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Computer Technology or Software Engineering
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

The Joe Clifton and Tom Scanlan Computer Science and Software Engineering Scholarship is renewable up to three years.
