Mary Robinson Wagner Scholarship
When Mary Robinson Wagner came to UW-Platteville in 1974 and entered the College of Engineering, she was one of only seven women in a school of approximately 500 men. The studies and opportunities in Engineering proved interesting, challenging, and opened up a world of possibilities. This scholarship aims to encourage others to be bold in reaching for opportunities and to pursue Engineering as the keystone for the future -not just for themselves but also for the greater community, to make a difference.
The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a continuing student or engaged in the Engineering Masters program
2. Applicants must be majoring in Engineering
3. Applicants must have a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
4. Applicant must demonstrate leadership and extra-curricular activities
5. Preference will be given to females
6. Preference will be given to transfer students or non-traditional students
