Jeanne Brunette-Tregoning Scholarship

This Scholarship is in honor of Jeanne Brunette-Tregoning of Madison, Wisconsin. Jeanne graduated with a M.S.E. degree in 1988 from the UW-Platteville with an emphasis on reading. Dr. John L. Coryell stated that Jeanne’s passions are agricultural leadership and teaching children at a young age to become proficient in reading, comprehension, writing and spelling.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a first-year student
2. Applicants must be female
3. Applicants must graduate from a high school in Grant, Green, Iowa, or LaFayette county and from communities under 7,000 in population
4. Demonstrate financial need
5. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen

Scholarship A
6. Applicants must major in Elementary Education

Scholarship B
6. Applicant must have a major in the School of Agriculture

The Jeanne Brunette-Tregoning scholarship is renewable for up to four years. In order for the scholarship to be renewed, recipients should maintain at least a B average to continue to benefit from the scholarship.
