The French Endowed Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen or Transfer Students from Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

David French received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1980 in Industrial Technology from UW-Platteville and went on to serve on the Board of Directors of the J.L. French Corporation in Sheboygan until its sale in the 1990’s. In appreciation, for his education received at UW-Platteville, David has established this scholarship.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a first-year or a transfer student
2. Applicants must have graduated from a Sheboygan County High School
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
4. Applicants must demonstrate leadership
5. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need
