G. Gunderson Scholarship for Southwest Wisconsin

Jerry Gunderson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wisconsin State University-Platteville before earning his Master of Arts degree from Northern Michigan University-Marquette. He then taught math and science for 30 years in Wisconsin.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a resident of one of the following southwest Wisconsin counties: Grant, Crawford, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Vernon, or Richland
2. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
3. Preference will be given to applicants majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Ecological, Restoration and Resource Management, Soil and Crop Science, or Software Engineering
