Gordon E. Wegwart P.E. Civil and Environmental Engineer Scholarship

This scholarship was created in honor and memory of Gordon E. Wegwart. Gordie attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and received a Civil Engineering degree in 1969. Gordie’s achievements at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency as well as his participation in National environmental organizations have made a difference in protecting Minnesota’s environment.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering
2. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
4. Applicants must be Involved in outdoor activities that demonstrate enthusiasm for the environment
