Anna Johnson Stewart Civil Engineering Scholarship

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a continuing student entering their sophomore, junior or senior year.
2. Applicants must be pursing an engineering degree, preference will be given to student studying civil engineering.
3. Preference to student(s) who contribute to the intellectual and cultural enrichment of the program because of their life experiences, including overcoming personal adversity or family hardship, records of extensive community service. Examples of family hardship may include student(s) that demonstrate significant barriers to achieving higher education, such as experience in the foster care system, living in a single-parent household, having an incarcerated parent, or responsibilities for providing financial support or primary care for other household members.
