Howard and Cathie Brooks Scholarship in Manufacturing Technology Management

Howard Brooks received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1965, his Master in Industrial Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1970, and his Ed. D in Practical Arts and Vocational Technical Education from the University of Missouri in 1974. In 1969 he was a faculty assistant, in 1970 he was an Instructor, in 1973 he moved to Assistant Professor, in 1977 he moved to associate professor, and he was a full professor from 1983 until 2004. From 2000-2004, he was also the department chair for the Industrial Studies Department.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be majoring in Engineering Technology Management
2. Applicants must be of junior or senior standing
3. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
4. Applicants must be actively involved in a student organization focused on Manufacturing Technology Management
5. Preference will be given to applicants who have had an internship or job experience in the field of Manufacturing Technology Management
