Speedway Sand and Gravel Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to benefit the UW-Platteville Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and students form Wisconsin in recognition of John DeBeck, founder of Speedway Sand and Gravel.

The following criteria shall be used in the annual selection of the recipient(s):
1. Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior
2. Applicants must be majoring in Civil Engineering, preference will be given to students who show interest in construction
3. Applicants must be life long residents of Wisconsin
4. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
5. Applicants must demonstrate financial need
